"Not over me, you don't! You're not ruining everything over me!" I struggled violently, with total futility.
Alice spoke for the first time. "Edward pull over."
He flashed her a hard look, and then sped up.
"Edward, let's just talk this through."
"You don't understand," he roared in frustration. I'd never heard his voice so loud; it was deafening in the confines of the jeep. The speedometer neared one hundred and fifteen. "He's a tracker, Alice, did you see that? He's a tracker!"
In this passage the Cullens were playing baseball in the forest and then another group of vampires came. They were hunting, but unlike Edward's family, they hunt humans. Charlsie has invited them back to the home. Edward tried to hide Bella's scent but the wind blew her hair and the leader smelled it. Apparently Bella has a very strong smell. He has began to hunt Bella and Edward is furious and trying to get her to a safe place.

"Hmmmmm..." I watched him frame his answer carefully. "What would you say to meeting my family?"
I gulped.
"Are you afraid now? He sounded hopeful.
"Yes," I admitted; how could I deny it--- he could see my eyes.
"Don't worry." He smirked. "I'll protect you."
"I'm not afraid of them" I explained. " I'm afraid they won't... like me. Won't they be, well, surprised that you would bring some one... like me... home to meet them? Do they know that I know about them?"
"Oh, they already know everything. They'd taken bets yesterday, you know" -- He smiled, but his voice was harsh--- "on whether I'd bring you back, though why anyone would bet against Alice, I can't imagine. At any rate, we don't have secrets in the family. It's not really feasible, what with my mind reading and Alice seeing the future and all that."
This passage is when Bella meets Edward's family. Alice and Jasper like Bella, but Rosalie and Emmett thinks that Edward has gone crazy. They don't see how Edward can fall in love with a human but Edward doesn't care. I have only a few chapters left and I really like this book and I love Edward and I'm glad he's found a girl he loves. Its been centuries since Edward loved someone and Alice loves it.

His lips twitched as he stared on the road. "A while," he admitted at last.
"Okay." I smiled, pleased that he was still being honest with me. He stared down at me with watchful eyes, much as he had before, when he was worried I would go into shock. I smiled wider in encouragement, and he frowned.
"Don't laugh--- but how can you come out in the daytime?"
He laughed anyway. "Myth."
"Burned by the sun?"
"Myth."
"Sleeping in coffins?"
"Myth." He hesitated for a moment, and a peculiar tone entered his voice. "I can't sleep." .....
"Don't you want to know if I drink blood?"
I flinched. "Well Jacob said said something about that."
"What did Jacob say?" he asked flatly.
"He said you didn't ...... hunt people. He said your family wasn't suppose to be dangerous because you only hunted animals."
"He said we weren't dangerous?" His voice was deeply skeptical.
In this passage Bella has figured out Edward was a vampire and he has told her about his vampire life. It seems that Edward's family has an enemy, Jacob's family. It looks like his family knows that the Cullens are vampires and they don't like them for it or they're scared of the Cullens. Edward seems surprised that Jacob doesn't think the Cullens are dangerous and that surprises him. Edward and Bella seem to be liking each other well and its cute.

Could the Cullens be vampires? Well they are something. Something outside the possibility of rational justification was taking place in front of my incredulous eyes. Whether it be Jacob's cold ones or my own superhero theory, Edward Cullen was not. . . human. He was something more.
So then ----- maybe. That would have to be my answer for now.
And then the most important question of all. What was I going to do if it was true?
If Edward was a vampire--- I could hardly make myself think the words---- then what should I do? Involving someone else was definitely out. I couldn't even believe myself; anyone I told would have me committed,

Edward Cullen was standing 4 cars down from me, staring at me in horror. His face stood out from a sea of faces, all frozen in the same mask of shock. But more immediate importance was the dark blue van that was skidding, tires locked and squealing against the brakes, spinning wildly across the ice of the parking lot. It was going to hit the back corner of my truck, and I was standing in between them. I didn't even have time to close my eyes.
Just before I heard the shattering crunch of the van folding around the truck bed, something hit me., hard, but not from the direction I was expecting. My head cracked against the icy blacktop, and I felt something solid and cold pinning me to the ground...
I could hear Edward Cullen's low, frantic voice in my ear. "Bella are you alright?"...
"How in the..." I trailed off, trying to clear my head, get my bearings. "How did you get over here so fast?"
"I was staring right next to you, Bella," he said, his tone serious again.

Twilight [post 1]
I examined Edward the most carefully. His skin was less pale, I decided-- flushed from the snow fight maybe-- the circles under his eyes much less noticeable. But there was something more. I pondered, staring, trying to isolate the change.
"Bella, what are you staring at?" Jessica intruded, her eyes following mine.
At that precise moment, his eyes flashed over to meet mine.
I am in the second chapter and so far I like it. This passage came from the 41st page. This passage is either the beginning of a nice relationship, or a bad relationship between Bella and Edward. I don't think I like this Edward Cullen character very much, although the discription of him is attractive. This is Edward and Bella's second cafeteria encounter and this one seems a lot better than the first one. The first one seemed like he was mocking her. For the past week in the book he's been straight avoiding Bella. Edward Cullen seems like a snob but a kid who just doesn't fit in.

Twilight[my new book]
This is my new book I am going to start reading. This book is called Twilight, and it is by Stephenie Meyer. Most of my friends have read this book and said it was great, so most likely i'll love it because mostly its a vampire book. YAY! Anyways, yeah. Peace.
